Have you ever stopped to think about why you like some music and shows and not others? And why we see some people's stories represented in film and television and not others’? In this learning community, we will explore issues of gender, race, and sexuality by studying popular music, movies, television, literature, and history. Our class projects will focus on creative assignments including music play lists, videos, blogs, advertising analyses and public performance observations.
