In this learning community, students will master a working knowledge of the criminal justice system and how it works and impacts our daily lives. The central goal is to instill academic skills and habits that lead to overall collegiate success. This learning community is for driven students with the desire and professional energy to learn AND PRACTICE proven academic skills. Students will continue to explore this concept with HIS 116. Both CRJ 101 (Criminal Justice) and HIS 116 (Europe Since 1500) fulfill Intellectual Foundations requirements and UNC 100 is required for most students. So, these courses can be applied to any major and more importantly the knowledge gleaned can be used throughout the rest of their collegiate, professional and personal lives.
