"The Curious Minds" Learning Community provides a supportive community environment focused on exploring and investigating topics related to academic success and personal development. The mission of this learning community is to actively engage in investigation to form a deeper understanding of mathematics, creativity, college life, community and self. Students apply critical thinking and creative thinking in all academic areas to investigate, learn, grow, develop skills, generate ideas, solve problems and achieve goals. This learning community combines mathematics and creative thinking skills to deepen learning through the cross-pollination of knowledge, academic disciplines and experiences. Members of this community will develop skills for deep investigation, solving problems, thinking critically/creatively and making connections. Coursework will emphasize investigation through active learning and community participation.
