Semester Planning
Before the Semester Begins
- Discuss the goals and expectations of the Community
- Share syllabi and coordinate calendar
- Discuss common assignments or large-scale projects in each course
- Discuss the planning and coordination of the Integrated Hour and co-curricular learning experiences.
- Discuss course quotas with your department chair and the assistant dean for Intellectual Foundations.
Meetings During Semester
- Discuss students who are encountering problems
- Continue to share ideas and expectations for the Community
- Revise course plans as needed
- Plan and execute co-curricular learning experiences
End of Semester
- Encourage students to complete the LC evaluation via Evaluation ToolKit
- Reflect individually and as a team on strengths and weaknesses of the semester to include in future revisions of the Community
