Da Capo is a learning community that supports musically creative and talented first-year students at Buffalo State who have been accepted to the Music Department through audition.
Da Capo assists students in the development of basic fundamentals needed to succeed in any professional career in music. Courses in music theory, aural skills, writing, acoustics, and an introductory course in music studies and careers explore the years 1600-1920.
Da Capo members work closely with each other as well as faculty in the artistic adventures encountered in the life of a music major.
Da Capo is for declared music majors only. Interested students must audition before being accepted into the music major. For more information call (716) 878-6401 or visit http://music.buffalostate.edu.
