How Do I Join?
- Communities are available by April 1st for the fall semester
- When you speak with your professional academic adviser, to register for classes, please indicate your top three choices, they will attempt to register you for one of them.
- When you sign up for housing, please indicate you are interested in a Learning Community and a staff member will reach out to you to gather further information.

Bengal Community of Scholars Program expand the boundaries of a traditional classroom
- The communities have extended the classroom to local, national, and international destinations. Students have visited historic sites in the Buffalo community, the National Museum of Play, the Susan B. Anthony House, the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, and Detroit Motown Historical Museum. Many students have had the opportunity to travel to Ireland as part of their learning community experience
