Any student in any major can participate in the Linked Learning Community Program and the program is available to both resident and commuter students. Students in special programs (athletics, honors, EOP, etc.) can participate with their adviser’s approval.

To join a community, please indicate your interest on the orientation registration form.
This form allows you to register for orientation. The form also asks you questions about your class preferences and health information. There is a specific question about the Learning Community program. Put the name of the community you would like to join as the answer to the community question. Access this form by logging into your Banner account, or by visiting the New Student and Family Programs.
Learning communitities exists to expand the classroom experience by integrating learning through campus and community engagement.
Faculty will have opportunities to be in an environment with First-year students who like academic challenges and to enrich students learning through special programs with faculty and staff, visiting speakers, cultural activities and events, service projects, and shared meals. If you are intrested in creating a community please complete the attached form.
