Students from the Community of Student Investigators (CSI) learning community presented research about Buffalo and Western New York to a Wayne State University learning community in October while visiting Detroit, Michigan.
Besides presenting at Wayne State, the 23 learning community students had the opportunity to attend sessions at the 34th annual American Labor History Conference, participate in an interactive bus tour of Detroit, attend a jazz and spoken word event, and visit Eminem’s recording studio and the Motown Museum.
A Learning Community consists of a group of students and their professors exploring a common theme. Learning Communities are open to all students who want to get the most out of the Buffalo State experience.
