Jane Sullivan is a lecturer in the College Writing Program. She has taught the CWP 101 and 102 courses at Buffalo State College for the past 3 years, while also freelance writing for the East Aurora Advertiser and Elma Review newspapers, where she is a past copy editor. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Syracuse University and holds a Master’s Degree in Reading Education from Canisius College. After teaching middle and high school Reading for five years at Starpoint Central Schools, Jane has spent the last eleven years teaching in higher education first at Texas A&M International University and now at Buffalo State College. This is Jane’s first semester with the CSI Learning Community; she looks forward to taking this journey with students and playing a part in developing their writing and academics skills so that when they leave this program, they are empowered to meet future academic responsibilities with knowledge, skills, and self-confidence.
